Where is your hometown?
Chillicothe, Ohio, but moved to Columbus to attend college.
What school did you go to and your major?
The Ohio State University and majored in Business Management, Human Resources.
What relevant experience do you have related to your job?
I started my human resources career with Nationwide Insurance as the employment supervisor, then moved into an HR role specializing in writing and updating employment policy for the enterprise, HR training, and employee relations. I left Nationwide to build a direct sales business where I was consistently in the top 100 and many times in the top 20 sales reps out of 10,000 across the country, and built a team of consultants. I then combined my human resources and sales talents and became a third party recruiter with a passion for sales recruiting. From that role, I was connected with RevLocal and found the perfect fit for my skills and passion.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy golfing, hiking, biking and ballroom dancing.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I grew up on a 500 acre farm with 2 sisters and no brothers. So, I credit my dad for instilling in me a strong work ethic as he needed some extra workers. It wasn't that much fun at the time, but I do have a lot of fond memories.
What made you choose RevLocal?
I was starting to hear of this up and coming company, RevLocal, in my networking circles, and I loved the idea of working in a fast growing company. Once I met Marc, Michael, and Aaron, and saw the values and vision they had for not only this company but their people, I knew I wanted to be a part of building a great company with great people.
